Bull house

We had the pleasure of checking out this new winery on December 9, 2023. We were greeted right away by the owner, Jessica, and invited to taste two of the flights that they are currently offering, a white and a red. While chatting more with one of the employees and Jessica, we learned more about Bull House. The property used to be White Hall Winery before Jessica acquired the property. She doesn't grow the grapes currently but she imports them from local Maryland growers, including Bordeleau Winery. They supply her with vidal. She makes all of the wine on site and has been for  the last five years that she has owned and operated the winery. You notice right away after entering the barn how great of shape it is in. Substantial renovations have just been completed and the barn was recently re-opened. There are cute green couches and rustic mirror frame wall hangings on the wall in one corner perfect for taking pictures. Our favorites from the flights we tried were the vidal, seyval and cabernet franc. There is a sweet and dry vidal. The dry has notes of apple and melon and the seyval is more stone fruits with guava aromas. The cabernet franc is light bodied with red fruits and a peppery finish. Located in Harford County and only open currently on Saturdays since Jessica works full time and has two kids, they are definitely worth paying a visit to!
